Looking to Lease a Horse?

Leasing a horse allows you to ride additional days a week, practice for your lessons or shows, bond with your pony, and learn more about horse care - without all the costs of owning! 

Leases include:

  • Priority for horse availability for shows & rides

  • Use of tack for horse/pony

  • Reduction in horse fee for horse shows

  • Use of indoor/outdoor arena

  • Locker or cubby if available

  • HBS offers leases on our horses that allow additional rides on a consistent horse. We’ll work with you to set up a schedule that works for both you and your horse.

  • Leasing a horse is a great option for riders who are able to ride confidently without an instructor present.

    We match the horse to the rider, but rides on a leased horse will not always be supervised.

  • You don’t need to provide anything! Our lease horses have their own tack, which will be available for you to use.

  • You can lease your horse for a set amount of time or go month-to month! Up to you.

  • Talk to Holly! Leases are available to active HBS students. Let Holly know you’re interested and she will work with you to find an appropriate option.

Half Lease

$600/month Full Year
$625/month Show Season


Ride 3 days/week
Includes option for unrestricted number of events/month

Partial Lease

$400/month Full Year
$425/month Show Season


Ride 2 days/week
Includes option for 2 offsite events/month

Requirements

Weekly Lessons

Riders MUST lesson at least 1x/week while leasing.

Lessons can be one of your weekly rides or can be in addition.

Lease fees DO NOT include lesson fees.

Scheduling Rides

Your ride days will be on specified days of the week and must be scheduled in advance.

We will work with you to find days that work for your schedule.

Cancellation Policy

30 day notice is required for cancellation of your lease.
